You sharpen it just like any other high-quality steel knife. You can use your preferred sharpening method - whether that's a whetstone, a honing rod/steel, or an electric sharpener. Do not activate the ultrasonics during sharpening - this can damage both the blade and your sharpening stones, as the ultrasonic movement is too aggressive and not evenly distributed across the entire cutting edge. The factory edge is set at 13 degrees per side, so for the easiest re-sharpening, use that same angle. However, if you want to adjust the edge finer for delicate work or wider for rougher tasks, you're welcome to. Reshaping the blade to a different belly curvature or tip shape can cause it to fall out of tune, so avoid removing more material than you would during normal sharpening.
