On a full charge, the C-200's battery provides about 20 minutes of continuous running at maximum power. However, the C-200 only runs while you're holding down the button. In practice, that 20 runtime minutes is enough to dice at least 20 onions or 40 potatoes. You'll likely get through multiple meal preps on one charge. And remember, even if the battery is drained, the knife can still be used as a regular (non-vibrating) sharp knife until you recharge it.

For the lifetime of the battery itself, that's not a question that anyone selling batteries can actually answer, because it depends so much on how it's used, charged, and stored. 

But, what we can say (which comes from the manufacturer of the cell itself) is that after 300 full cycles of the battery from deep discharge to full recharge, it retains more than 85% of its original capacity.
